¡Ya Vienen Los Reyes Magos!✨
Once the Christmas’ festivities end, in Spain we still have the most magical day of the year coming up… the Day of The Three Wise Men!

Who are the Three Wise Men?
Tradition says that the Three Wise Men went to the Bethlehem portal following a star that showed them the way to see the Child Jesus, who had just been born. Upon arrival, these three magicians (Melchior, Gaspar and Baltasar) offered him three gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
For this reason, every year, children write their letters to the Three kings explaining how good they have been and listing the gifts that they wish to receive. However, the naughty ones will receive a piece of coal instead
When do the Three Wise Men arrive?
On the evening of January the 5th the Three Wise Men originally travel by camel from the East.They have now adapted to the modern world and depending on the city they visit they might get there by car, boat or even by helicopter!
To see the excitement on children’s face when they see The Three Kings for the first time is priceless!
After having seen the city’s parade of Kings, children run home to offer some water, milk and food so that they and their camels regain strength.
The morning of January 6th, the children of each house get up nervous and earlier than usual to discover what gifts Their Majesties the Kings have given them the night before.
And this is, for us, the most magical night of the year ✨

Una vez terminan las fiestas de Navidad, en España aún queda el día más mágico…¡el Día de los Reyes Magos!
¿Quiénes son los Reyes Magos?
La tradición cuenta que los Reyes Magos fueron al portal de Belén siguiendo una estrella que les indicaba el camino para ver al Niño Jesús, que acababa de nacer. Al llegar, estos tres magos (Melchor, Gaspar y Baltasar) le ofrecieron tres regalos: oro, incienso y mirra.
Por eso, cada año todos los niños escriben una carta a los reyes explicando lo buenos que han sido y pidiendo los regalos que desean recibir. Pero… en su lugar, los que no se han portado bien van a recibir un trozo de carbón.
¿Cuándo llegan los Reyes Magos?
Originariamente, los Tres Reyes Magos viajan en camello desde Oriente la noche del 5 de enero. Sin embargo, se han adaptado a tiempos modernos y dependiendo de la ciudad llegan en coche, barco o incluso en ¡helicóptero!
Ver la ilusión en la cara de los niños cuando ven a Los Reyes Magos por primera vez ¡no tiene precio!
Después de haber visto la Cabalgata de Reyes de la ciudad, los niños se van corriendo a sus casas para dejar un poco de agua, leche y comida para los Reyes y sus camellos.
La mañana del 6 de enero, los niños de cada casa se levantan nerviosos más temprano de lo habitual para abrir los regalos que Los Reyes dejaron la noche anterior.
Y esta es, para nosotros, la noche más mágica del año ✨
